Jill Donohue has been an important part of the BEAR team since 2007. Jill's background as a competitor includes age group, high school, and college swimming. She competed for Colby College while obtaining a degree in Economics. After college, Jill also competed in both Masters and Open Water races, as well as participating three times in the Swim Across the Sound, which is a fund raiser for cancer patients. Jill's love of the sport has carried over to coaching where she truly enjoys helping kids grow and develop. She specializes in teaching stroke mechanics to age group swimmers, and has an excellent knowledge of swimming technique. She currently resides in Simsbury with her husband and three sons (who all swim for BEAR!).
